Daily itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival to Malaga +

Your tour guide will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your hotel in Malaga. After we get you settled in the hotel and you become acquainted with your bike, just take it easy - rest in the hotel, see the town or take a short introductory ride with the guide to get accustomed to the bike (starts at 5 PM, takes about 2 hrs)

In the evening we will meet for a welcome dinner and to brief you about the format of our tour, describe in detail the route of Day 2. Every night we have the briefing for next day.
  • Day 2: Malaga - Granada: 175km (around 3h 30 min ) +

On our first riding day, we will be cruising with the sea on our right, enjoying the maritime landscape which offers us the abrupt Mediterranean coast of Malaga with its beautiful Natural Park “Sierras de Tejada”. We head into the mountain range to reach the World Heritage city of Granada where we enjoy our riding thanks to the winding roads. Our sense of smell will have a great pleasure crossing the orange tree valleys. Once in Granada, we visit the spectacular Palace/ Fortress La Alhambra, built by the Moorish caliphs in the 9th century and afterwards expanded by the Reyes Catolicos ("Catholic Monarchs") after the conquest of Granada.
  • Day 3: Granada – Almeria 185km (around 3h 45 min ) +

Today we will definitely find out that Andalusia is a paradise for motorcycle tourism. We ride across the length and breadth of the Sierra Nevada National Park which has the highest tarred road in Europe and Spain´s highest mountain, Mulhacen at 3.478 meters. As we approach Almeria we leave behind the pine forests and we are entering a setting without equal, a desert landscape of eroded mountains due to the water flow, heavy rains and high winds. Also the colors of the different layers of earth make a unique landscape of incomparable beauty. Almeria is the European city with the highest temperature (17ºC average) and more sunny days per year, and the fortress “Alcazaba”, with its 1,430 meters of walled perimeter is, after the Alhambra, the more extensive Muslim construction of Europe.
  • Day 4: Almeria –Cazorla 220km (around 3h 30 min ) +

On the 4th day we continue enjoying the desert landscape until we enter Sierra de Baza Natural Park, where the pine forest will be our companion. Soon we visualize the incredible olive fields. The geometric layout of these fields transmit through the eyesight a great feeling of serenity while we are driving our bikes. To reach Cazorla, we wind our way up through mountain passes nearby the Nature Park of the same name, giving us an idea of the real beauty we’ll find day 5 of our circuit. Cazorla is a picturesque small village situated at the foot of the mountain whose white houses and the care of the environment makes it beautiful and welcoming for visitors.
  • Day 5: Cazorla - Ubeda - Baeza 165km (around 3h ) +

Today we will take pleasure in the incredible scene which offers the Natural Park of Cazorla, unavoidable occasion for motorcycle tourism in Andalusia. A deep, luminous, valley through which the Segura River gently flows stretching along 70 km. The marvelous views of open countryside and mountainous scrubland which form the valley on both sides dominated by the Tranco Dam, is so imposing at some points as if we are in a crater. Leaving the Park we continue cruising between seas of olive trees in which in autumn we will get enveloped by its special olive oil fragrance. We will reach Ubeda and afterwards Baeza our destination for today, both of them declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO for their Renaissance Monumental Ensembles.
  • Day 6: Baeza - Cordoba - Sevilla 295km (around 4h) +

We will do a long stop in Cordoba today, because a visit to the cathedral/ Mezquita (mosque) and its old town is obligatory in this circuit. To get to Cordoba we will have an easy ride throughout the Guadalquivir valley, brightening our views with the green wheat fields between lands with rows of olives that yield exquisite oil thanks to the mild climate and fertile soil. And with the Natural Parks of “Sierra de Andujar” and “Sierra de Cardeña and Montoro” in the background. We will follow the Guadalquivir river valley to the town of Seville with the Natural Park “Sierra de Hornachuelos” on our right. Seville is the capital of Andalusia and it is the ideal place for many different activities which make every stay in the city an unforgettable experience. The Cathedral, Alcázar and Archivo de Indias, World Heritage sites, together these three buildings form a remarkable monumental complex in the heart of Seville.
  • Day 7: Seville – Ronda 200km (around 3h 30 min ) +

Today promises to be a great riding day along the “Sierra de Grazalema” The National Park of “Los Alcornocales” cruising the stunning environment of “Los pueblos Blancos” (The white villages) so called for the uniform white color of its houses in contrast to the natural scenery. Tonight we will relax in Ronda, known for its spectacular cliff, the Tajo canyon upon which the city perches.
  • Day 8: Ronda – Malaga 151km (around 3h 15 min ) +

The ride is coming to a close, but that does not mean we will have less fun driving our bikes today. We will drive towards Antequera whose environmental landscape and the wealth of monuments is not to be missed. Our ride will take us along the Natural Park of “Sierra de las Nieves” across the “Desfiladero de los Gigantes”, and around the karst landscape of “El Torcal”, known for its unusual landforms. Finally we will get to Malaga. In this amazing city we will enjoy the Historical center with its cathedral and Fortress.
  • Day 9: Back Home +

Back home, we thank you for your assistance to this tour, we wish you have enjoyed a wonderful motorcycle vacation, and hope to meet you again on another of our tours along Spain and Morocco.
